I used MoneyWell for a while, before switching to YNAB4 when it was released, then nYNAB a year ago. Let's hear your thoughts/recommendations! Sometimes I want to adjust the budget from iPad or iPhone, and I can't because the new transactions don't download until I log into the webapp. The exception is that I so badly want bank import to work in the mobile app. The auto-import is a huge time-saver! I actually have no real gripes with YNAB, which is why I continue to use it. YNAB - I was ecstatic when the new YNAB was released. I was drawn to the fact that it has a native client and also syncs across devices. I got a free license via my employer and thought I would check it out. MoneyWell - I haven't used this much at all. I guess the issue I face with this software is that at times, I just prefer the cleaner, simpler UI and functions of YNAB. However, the problem I face with it is the fact that the site is using old technology. Mvelopes - It's got a ton of features and rules you can setup. Have any of you used any of the other apps listed? If so, do you prefer YNAB instead (probably if you are in this subreddit). All three are centered around envelope/zero-based budgeting, which is fantastic! I am a YNAB user here, and I previously used Mvelopes as well.
